Noel Meade has won both renewals and Cross Appeal showed improved form behind Sweeps Hill over the C&D in May. Carrigeen Lechuga won five times between the flags before being beaten at long odds-on while Imperial Shabra was having his third start this month when running poorly in a Grade 3 here a fortnight ago. Crash won a point-to-point, a bumper and a maiden hurdle on heavy ground at Thurles in February and looks a decent staying chaser in the making while Quietly Fancied was only just touched off in a Grade 2 novice hurdle when last seen almost two years ago. STONEMASTER was comfortably the best of these over hurdles and was expected to make a winning start over fences here earlier this month but found On The Way Out too strong. He will have learnt from that and should make amends.
