Verdict

With the Willie Mullins bandwagon rolling on, MIDNIGHT GAME looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to make a winning start for the yard. Twice a winner on the Flat in France and runner-up in Listed company, he cost 185,000 euros at the Sales and should start repaying some of that outlay here. Another import from France, Birzali, has done best of those with experience over timber with his latest run behind the useful Make A Track a much improved effort. Railway Vic hadn't shown much before finishing runner-up to Dawn Commander at Wexford and can make further progress while winning bumper Articular ran well for a long way in that event and should improve.
