In depth

Verdict

Aranleigh looked to have a big career ahead of him when landing a novice chase here two years ago but has only raced once since and makes his reappearance after a very long absence. BEAU MICHAEL can take this as though he has alternated between hurdles and fences and appears better over the bigger obstacles nowadays he will have found 2m over timber at Down Royal last time much too short and this is more like his trip. Dariak didn't run badly on his first start for three years at Galway last month but could just need another outing while See U Bob is much better known as a chaser and hasn't run since pulling up in the Irish National in April. Sweet Shock was in fine form over hurdles at this time a year ago and didn't appear to take to fences at Naas last week.
