Tony Martin can't get a race out of Easy Vic, who was having his 30th career start when just failing to overhaul Day Dream Boy at Fairyhouse when he received a hefty bump from the winner. He'll be fancied again for this but is very difficult to select with any confidence. Rightville Boy has really found his form and bids to follow up last month's Fairyhouse success off a 6lb higher mark though this looks tougher. PLAYING, who completed a double over fences at the turn of the year, was raised a massive 14lb and couldn't cope so it's no surprise to see him back over hurdles on a 31lb lower mark and he is handed the vote. Tipped Up Harry ran over fences last time but his previous close fourth behind Followmeuptocarlow at Fairyhouse in November points to his chances as he's only 1lb higher. Western Man was a long way behind Easy Vic at Fairyhouse and is no better off.
