SPRINGBELLE was the easy winner of a maiden point at Tattersalls Farm before a fine debut under Rules when narrowly beaten by the odds-on Chancol on this track. With further progress likely, she looks the one to be on. Hell Cat Maggie had shown little before heading to Fairyhouse where she defied a big starting price to run Tudor Fashion close with the better-fancied Rock's Field around 15 lengths back in fourth. Nosey Box needs a thorough test of stamina which she should have no problems getting here while Kilnockin Lady, a winning point-to-pointer, has done very well in bumpers though she has plenty of weight. Robert Tyner's horses have been in excellent form so the recent Kilfeacle point-to-point winner Killeena House must be respected as must Shuilamach, who will love the conditions.
