Verdict

A tricky finale with several appearing to have decent claims. Delightfantastic was third here on his debut under Rules but then finished behind Tarqueens Glory at Fairyhouse. Brian O’Neill keeps faith with winning pointer Ardera Ru, despite an expensive defeat at Limerick. Eyre Square has placed in a point since his third at Fairyhouse but Jamie Codd prefers recent Cork runner-up CUTE CHERRY so Gordon Elliot’s mare gets the nod as she appears to have the beating of Feddans. Note any market support for Carrigeen Konini, who is a full sister to a bumper winner and a half-sister to a winning hurdler/chaser, or Court Blaze, a half-brother to the stable’s winning jumper Blaze A Trail.
