Winning point-to-pointer and bumper Rough Justice isn't one of his stable's leading lights over timber and should do better when sent chasing though this isn't the strongest of maidens. Shemshal ran quite well on his hurdling bow at Punchestown so it was a surprise to see him back in a bumper at Down Royal where he started favourite but ran poorly. Coolfighter, a regular winner on the Flat in Germany, had shown some potential before a very poor effort at Thurles which didn't look his form. APACHE JACK has been alternating between bumpers and hurdles but this should be his game now and his latest run, when attempting to concede weight at Down Royal and not beaten far, should be good enough for this.
