Verdict

ON THE FRINGE won this in 2010, 2012 and last year. He's shown himself the best in the business in this sphere with victories in the championship races at Cheltenham and Aintree and appears to be getting better. He's up against a couple of very smart hunters here but should have few problems landing a famous hat-trick of major events. Noble Prince has been in fine form since the turn of the year though couldn't go the furious pace at Cheltenham. Warne is very smart on his day but only got as far as the first at Aintree and was 22 lengths behind the selection in this a year ago. Pearlysteps is an interesting entry from Henry Daly and he wasn't far behind the selection in last year's Foxhunter at Cheltenham so he could be the one to provide the main threat.
