Botanist is running well and was probably unfortunate not to finish closer at Lingfield after his victory at Leicester. Shearian doesn't win very often and was caught inside the final furlong at Redcar after attempting to make all while Sword Of The Lord is 10lb higher than his last victory though he's been running in better company. Sweet Martoni went up 6lb for her Chepstow victory and put a moderate Polytrack run behind her when making all at Windsor on Saturday. She likes a bit of cut in the ground so any further rain would aid her cause though ELLAAL looks the one to be on. Ruth Carr's charge was once rated in the 80's though dropped to a lowly mark after a string of defeats but he's now won two of his last three and showed fast ground is no problem at Carlisle for which a 3lb rise looks fair.
