This is a good race for favourites and is usually won by a decent performer and RED ICON fits the bill this time around. Tom Dascombe's charge made most to score on soft ground at Haydock and wasn't inconvenienced by faster conditions at Epsom where he ran a fine race in the Listed Woodcote Stakes. Son Of Africa gained many admirers when defying a 25/1 SP to land a Windsor maiden and he'll improve for the experience and Pallister just held the late thrust of Winstanley at York and there's nothing between them again while well-supported Ripon winner Olivia Fallow looks best of the Paul Midgeley pair.
