Mark Johnston's The Mighty Mod finally showed some sign of ability when third at Wolverhampton on his most recent start in March but he has disappointed in all three starts on turf so far and looks best left out of calculations in a race where the vote goes to HIGH ROLLING, who is preferred to Meetings Man. Micky Hammond's gelding has been running well on the flat of late and showed that improved form when making a winning start over hurdles at Sedgefield recently and he has to be respected back on the flat off a fair mark. Sir Mark Prescott has his string in good heart at present so Cheyenne Chant has to be considered but she needs to step up from her reappearance run at Lingfield last month to take a hand in the finish. Eve Johnson Houghton's Lauberhorn lost no caste in defeat at Bath last time and should be thereabouts off just a 2lb higher mark today, while Richard Fahey's Sheiling is lightly raced and open to improvement. The vote though goes the way of Tim Easterby's High Rolling, who has shown improvement with each start this term and he will be tough to beat if improving again from his latest effort when a close second at Beverley.
