This track suits Fairlie, who is selected ahead of the consistent Hula Ballew and In The Pink, while Madam Caversfield is also hard to rule out after a much improved effort last time. The fact that Frankie Dettori stays for the last to ride Madam Caversfield will be enough of a push for many to give the Richard Hannon-trained filly a speculative vote. She is yet to fulfil her potential and should go well from what is a very lenient mark. In The Pink can be hard to predict but did win on her penultimate start. The handicapper left her alone for that performance and she should again run her race now that she is back over her most appropriate trip. Hula Ballew has made the frame on twelve separate occasions in the past and acts well at the course. However, she failed to overhaul the selection on these terms here eight days ago and there is no obvious reason why the from should be reversed today. Therefore, we are prepared to stick with Fairlie as our hope to round off the meeting on a high.
