A weak race may go to Bellalou, who is fancied to confirm her superiority over Josear on these terms. Premier Times and Satin Rose are others to consider. Satin Rose is unexposed at the trip and is expected to be sharper now that she has the benefit of a handful of outings behind her. Watch the betting where she is concerned. Premier Times is in good form at present and is worth a try at the distance. However, it is a little disconcerting that no one came in for him when he won a similar race at Redcar on his penultimate start. He is not the largest of animals and faces a much tougher assignment here. Especially if Frankie Dettori can get the best out of Bellalou. The Globe-trotting Italian has solid record when riding for Neville Callaghan and, although this will not one of the more memorable events from their association, Dettori and co at least have a willing partner to go to war with in a very modest seller.
