In depth

Verdict

Connections presumably expected plenty from MAS PODER after she made a cracking debut last season when only beaten two lengths in a hot Listed fillies contest at York. For whatever reason she's regressed since that promising performance and been well beaten on both starts this term. However, connections are persisting and she's worth one more go in this ordinary affair returned to the minimum trip. Close Quarters, placed on both runs in similar contests, is again expected to be in the firing line, whilst Frisky has sound form claims but hasn't been seen since last July and now has a first run for his new yard. Theoretical is exposed but has place claims.
