ORPSIE BOY can follow up his recent course and distance success by getting the better of Glen Shiel and Noodles Blue Boy. The former smart handicapper had rather lost his way but it seems that a change of yards has rejuvenated him and he landed market support in good fashion nine days ago. He remains well enough handicapped on the best of his old form and is fancied to strike while the iron's hot. This is competitive and Noodles Blue Boy is sure to be popular with Ryan Moore booked for the ride but a wide draw is of no help to the gelding who has never won beyond the minimum. This stiff track should help Glen Shiel who battled on bravely to win over seven at Newmarket and could be improving whilst Cornus and Misplaced Fortune are in great nick at present. Stevie Gee hasn't been but is well handicapped if a visor can revive his fortunes whilst it would be folly to dismiss the claims of last year's winner Sunrise Safari who is 2lbs higher than for that win but on the same mark as when defeating Indian Skipper in April. However, Orpsie Boy is undeniably well handicapped and can prove another fine advertisement for his trainer's skills.
