    Verdict

Having just hung away a chance of a hat-trick last time LAAHEB is given achance to get back to winning ways here at the expense of the well treated Larkham and Mark Johnston's consistent William Blake. Well bred the selection has shown himself as a strong galloper to win two of his last three starts. He was just found wanting by a neck last time after hanging under pressure and with the form beginning to work out from that race he leaves the impression he has more to offer off a six pound higher mark. Larkham is given a weight for age allowance which negates his mark rise for a neck success last time. He's been a different horse since being gelded and he should be in the frame again. William Blake is nothing if not consistent and looks certain to run his race again and Do The Strand enters calculations after getting off the mark at the third attempt last time. This is a really decent contest in which Laaheb should be the one they have to beat.
