The front-running Miss Danby was caught before the furlong pole over this trip at Newcastle and though the winner followed-up the form looks ordinary though she's entitled to improve in her second season. Heir of Excitement won a maiden at Ayr in July and ended the campaign with a decent run at Redcar where he was attempting to concede 12lb to the winner. Copper Baked showed potential in three starts last season and was well supported on her return to action at Southwell where she overcame trouble in-running to land a maiden. There's more to come from Karl Burke's filly and she has to be respected. Lucy's Law won a Newcastle nursery in September and will be better for her reappearance at Redcar so she's on the shortlist but the vote goes to SAKURAJIMA (NAP). Charles Hills' charge only showed moderate form last season but caught the eye on his reappearance at Windsor where he ran a fine race from a poor draw.
