Gee Cefyl Bach, Malinsa Blue and Granary make the shortlist here with Malinsa Blue taken to score. Gee Cefyl Bach was a convincing scorer at Newcastle last time, where he benefitted from racing on the stands side. He ran there from six pounds out of the handicap and has been raised a further four pounds. That may make his task more difficult here and he is taken on. Malinsa Blue looks interesting. His last win came over this course and distance in September and after a winless run he races here off a five pound lower mark, dropping three pounds since his last run. Some of his recent efforts have been encouraging, and with the fast ground he favours, he looks a major player. Granary took a low grade affair on the all-weather at Lingfield over this trip and has ben campagned over ten furlongs recently. His efforts have been moderate, and the handicapper has offered little respite so he is opposed. Malinsa Blue in contrast has a chance on these terms and he gets the vote.
