A number of old and in some cases, very old friends on view and we shall side with Ruby Legend ahead of Air Biscuit and Kylkenny. Ruby Legend represents the yard of Keith Reveley and having won this race two years ago, the stable look to have an obvious chance with the in-form eight-year-old. Starting at 33/1 at Nottingham, he is unlikely to be that price here. Air Biscuit hails from an in-form yard and is still open to improvement. A hard puller on occasions, the draw will help to settle. Kylkenny is getting on a bit but is a firm favourite with the Pontefract crowds. He seldom runs a bad race here and is noted in case of any positive vibes from the betting ring. River Logic was in rude form earlier in the summer but would not want to see any overnight rain. Bank On Benny had been tried over stayers trips and was not disgraced on a step down to a mile at Yarmouth and will appreciated the vagueries of the Pontefract hill. Archie Babe might just need this prior to a return to the winter game. A difficult race in which Ruby Legend is preferred.
