A fairly small field, but one which possesses some in form individuals, and FASTNET ROCK, impressive at Ripon recently, can get the better of Full Speed and Bullet Man. Full Speed is fairly unexposed and won in nice style on his seasonal debut at Chester, only having to be pushed out to score. He is progressive, has not been harshly punished, and can go close. Bullet Man was backed heavily when winning at Newmarket, and he has been raised 5lbs for that win. He is clearly coming to hand after earlier disappointments, and is respected. Fastnet Rock grabbed the race by the scruff of the neck at Ripon to win emphatically, and has been lifted 6lbs as a consequence. However, he has won over the course and distance, and clearly relishes fast ground, and Fastnet Rock can make the most of the weight he receives here.
