Verdict
Unless any of the newcomers proves to be above average this really should go to Sir Michael Stoute's Light Scent. Admittedly the son of Silver Hawk does not seem to have progressed this term but, having run in some tough handicaps previously this term, this looks a drop in class and he gets the TEAMtalk vote. None of the others with racecourse experience make much appeal and the biggest danger to the selection should come from the debutantes. Michael Jarvis saddles Carikar, a daughter of Gulch out of a Sadler's Wells mare, Golden Aruba from Brian Ellison's yard makes limited appeal and the pick of the first time out brigade could be Henry Cecil's Ishela, a well related daughter of Barathea. However, the selection should be able to make her experience tell.
