      Verdict

A weak race for this meeting with a slight TEAMtalk preference given to Supergrass who finally began to understand the racing game last time out at Haydock. This step up in trip looks sure to suit although he is unproven on the ground. Earlston showed a hint of ability at this course late last month. If he steps up on that effort he should go close. Just A Gigolo was highly tried last time and this drop in class and the easier ground should help his cause. Fortune Mea did reasonably well at Chester last time out but her trainer's current form is woeful. Matchsticks is another who suggested a drop in class will help his cause and his trainer has an excellent record at this track.
