BARSANTI goes from strength to strength having completed a hat-trick in a handicap at York. He may not have finished improving yet and gets the nod despite giving weight to the mares Sweeping Up and Lustrous. The former finished runner-up in a Group 3 at Haydock last time when well ahead of the latter but Lustrous was having her first start of the year and is better than that. Elidor was also below par at York last time along with Captain Morley and both drop back down in trip for this while Loving Things has a bit to find on these terms as she makes her belated return to action.
