        Verdict

BANKSEA (NAP) was a reserve in the Britannia Stakes at Ascot on Thursday but didn't make the line-up. He's clearly held in some regard and can go one better than when second at Leicester last month given Luca Cumani has an impressive strike rate with his three-year-old runners here. Arrowzone won under an apprentice at Newmarket last time and is effectively 7lb higher today but Maraakib can race off a similar mark as when third at York last time and this looks easier. Dance King won at Ripon last month but never threatened off today’s higher mark at Redcar and Darshini has struggled since winning at Chelmsford in April.
