          Verdict

          Toldo is in great form at present and should go well under the champion elect, but preference here is for Along The Nile, with Young Thomas also expected to go close. Linda Ramsden is a dab hand at plundering these type of events and Along The Nile has shown enough in two recent handicaps to suggest his time isn't far away. He was noted staying on nicely last week when just for lengths behind the impressive King's Account, and with a more forceful ride expected under Keiren Fallon, he will be difficult to beat. Toldo has managed to win two modest races and will find this competitive event a lot more taxing, however he is improving and looks the main threat to the selection. Young Thomas is one that should go well at a big price, he has performed with credit in two better handicaps recently and still looks on a very good mark. Torrens and Lola Sapola are two others worthy of a mention, but with Fallon doing the urging at one of his favourite tracks, Along The Nile looks the one to be on.
