Not a strong maiden by any means and just narrow preference is for newcomer GILT EDGE GIRL ahead of fellow debutantes Chocolicious and Fesko whilst Red Rosanna sets the rather average form level. Clive Cox doesn't send many up to the track but over the last five years he has a good strike-rate (around 18%) despite never sending a juvenile to the track in that period. This filly is a half-sister to Godfrey Street (unplaced on his sole start here) and other winners so if the market speaks in her favour then it may be worth taking note. The draw is of importance but on softer ground they tend to fan out if not fully migrate to the stands side rail, so horses such as Esprit De Midas and Dark Heroes may not be at too much of a disadvantage. Fesko represents a stable going well, whilst Red Rosanna and Wotatomboy have shown enough ability to pick up a weak maiden. Cafe Fiore and Aestival are both likely to need more time before they hit the winners enclosure and so we will return to Gilt Edge Girl as the nomination.
