    Verdict

Some of these are already beginning to look a little exposed and only a handful make any real appeal. Henry Windsor and Warren Place both put in decent performances at Beverley earlier in the season but have not built on those efforts of late. Wizard Of Us and Coozinha also have improvement to find and are already heading for the obscurity of minor handicap company. Which leaves Ombudsman as the obvious selection. He is a half-brother to Superstar Leo and made a very satisfactory debut behind a useful type from Richard Hannon's yard at Bath earlier in the month. He is sure to have benefited from the run and receives the TEAMtalk vote to rid himself of the maiden tag. A move for either Full Kwai Ma or Comic Times will give the best indications towards the confidence behind the newcomers chances of getting off the mark at the first time of asking.
