A tight little contest where those at the head of the weights have very little between them on what they have achieved so far. Platinum Duke has moped up in fairly moderate events this term and although he is a tough performer, he may well be a better horse at seven furlongs. Far Lane has become a little disappointing after failing to deliver on numerous occasions and is opposable on grounds of inconsistency - despite putting in an improved effort over course and distance last time. Whereas Captain Venti and Sociable are hard to split on a literal reading of a form line between themselves and Cat's Whiskers. The latter has done little wrong in her outings this term and gets the nod from TEAMtalk to gain a change of fortune. Astrocharm also comes into the reckoning and appeals as the best of the shorter priced options.
