Most recent winners have carried big weights so a welter burden shouldn't be too much of a problem for Tuscan Gold, who was third in this last year. He almost made a successful reappearance over 2m2f here a couple of weeks ago and looks certain to get competitive. Madam Lilibet, American Life and Riptide were all behind in that race earlier this month and though this is a longer trip none look capable of reversing the places on these terms. Sign Manual scored over hurdles at Catterick in February but was well beaten at Sedgefield later and isn't the most consistent while Filatore arrives after scoring over timber at Ffos Las a week ago, though that was a seller. SYMBOLIST (NAP) is probably the only one of these with scope and showed when runner-up to Alphabetical Order at Redcar that there are races to be won with her. The winner has scored again and is now rated 76 so John Norton's filly could be thrown in here.
