Verdict
VERY FIRST TIME was confirming earlier promise when getting off the mark at Newcastle last month on similar going. Tim Easterby's four-year-old has to give weight to older horses here but should be up to the task. Wazowski has his first run away from Carlisle but has shown some ability and should make the frame. Newtown Lad won a point-to-point in November and got outpaced in a bumper on his debut under Rules but is likely to need further than this.
