With conditions easing it might be worth an each-way play here on COMMANDO SCOTT, while Mr Wolf, Minturno and The Hermitage are also respected. Mr Wolf loves it here, where he has seven course wins to his name, and his presence at the track should always be taken seriously. He looks well handicapped again and should be a leading player. Minturno races over his optimum trip and has been very competitive of late, although he does keep being beaten and prefers fast ground. The Hermitage has also done his best work on good to firm but his stamina should be very handy today and he cannot be ruled out. Orpsie Boy is really well in on his old form and has been running with crediit of late. He has frame claims and a similar profile to our suggestion Commando Scott. Declan Carroll's runners have hit form and this grand old campaigner, who has not won for almost three years, has done most of his winning over six or seven furlongs. This stiff test at six will suit, as will any further rain, and at a price we can take him to make the frame, with anything else a bonus. Jonathan Doidge.
