Tellovoi made a bold bid to make all at Newmarket last month and was only caught inside the final furlong. But a fast pace here would suit Stardrifter, who met trouble in-running when third to Crowning Glory over an extra furlong at Epsom. IRISH OPTIMISM has been getting closer and was only beaten a neck last week off this mark. He deserves to get his head back in front and makes more appeal than veteran Kiwi Bay, who only won a claimer at Newcastle last month. Musaaid has yet to win for Mick Easterby but is coming down the weights and should be rectifying that fact sooner rather than later.
