There is rarely a meeting passes here without one of these marathons and several of today's runners are old rivals. RIPTIDE won this in 2013 and was fourth last year when ahead of Tuscan Gold. Michael Scudamore's veteran can reverse recent course and running with Another Lincolnday on better terms as the latter has since turned in a shocker at Carlisle. Medina Sidonia is usually thereabouts in races of this nature but has only won once in 19 career starts. Monjeni continues to disappoint while the handicapper appears to have nailed the filly La Fritillaire for the time being. Ivanhoe might enjoy this stamina test but may also be a few pounds too high at present.
