Another tough race to call here for punters with many in with chances in this wide-open handicap, and the principals look to be Gone Fishing, Redwood Rocks, Bailieborough and Basserah, with the vote going to Gone Fishing. The selection won well last time out and, although he carries a penalty for that win, he won with plenty in hand and, under similar conditions here, he will be hard to beat. Redwoodrocks rates the main danger as he has won his last two races in good style but, as a consequence, he has taken a sharp rise in the weights and, at his likely odds, he looks worth taking on. Bailieborough is another worthy of respect as he has found a new lease of life since changing stables but he to looks on a high-enough mark. Folio was a fair second behind Everest last time out but that was in a claimer and this is much more competitive. Hula Ballew is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with. This is a very trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but, for the winner, we return to Gone Fishing.
