We shall take Kevin Ryan's debutante Lasting Love to prevail at the expense of the slightly more experienced pair Ocean of Dreams and Cole. The selection's stable has been on fire with its juveniles this term, with the likes of Amadeus Wolf and Palace Episode leading the charge, and with Michael Hills booked and a perfect draw in stall one, hopes are high that Lasting Love can go close. This half-sister to six-furlong winner Night Games has no fancy entries at present, but is sure to have been well galloped and it will be disappointing if she does not give a good account. Ocean of Dreams was taken off his feet on the very fast ground at Carlisle a fortnight ago, but got within three-and-a-half lengths of the favourite Making Music, and will be expected to improve markedly. Cole was doing all his best work at the finish on his Catterick debut, but that was over six furlongs, and it is hard to see him having the speed to take this. However, apart from the two mentioned, this does not look too competitive so he should make a bold bid for a place at least. For the winner we return to Lasting Love who would not have to be anything out of the ordinary to go in first time.
