Verdict
This is a competitive handicap to open the card and the leading lights look to be Dhanyata, Bodes Galaxy and Monkey Glas with the vote given to Dhanyata. The selection was a little disappointing on her debut but she left that running behind when scoring impressively at Newbury last time beating Harvest Joy. She needs fast ground to be seen at her best and she may be up to overcoming her high draw here to score. Bodes Galaxy won a maiden in decent style at Bath last time and this colt could well give our selection the most to think about. He will try and make-all so his low draw is a big plus and he should not be far away at the finish. Monkey Glas beat Perlachy at Redcar last time but that rival has since been beaten again and Karl Burke's colt will have to improve again today to get his head in front. Suhayl Star is well drawn but looks exposed compared to some of these and he tackles this trip for the first time today. An interesting contest this to open the card and the vote is given to Dhanyata.
