      Verdict

MECCA'S GIFT won a Class 6 handicap at Hamilton by a long looking 7l so coming here with a 6lb penalty has to be the correct option so she looks the one to beat. Garrison Commander also ran a week ago at Brighton and looked like winning until getting outstayed over that 1m2f. Paul Cole doesn't have many runners here so Li Kui, who was running well on the all-weather at the backend of last year, will be better for last month's run at Newmarket and worth a market check. Starlight Red hadn't shown much before landing a moderate contest at Chepstow but can definitely improve again while it's about time One To Go was losing his maiden tag and this could be his trip and ground. Jimmy Greenhough ran easily his best race to date in a Leicester handicap over this trip and is another likely to find more.
