A number of these could well improve now tackling handicap company, though Beverley winner Pipers Note has plenty to find to overturn Ripon form with Grey Street. Richard Fahey runs Diggory Velvet as well as the latter and they make more appeal than the penalised Ena Sharples, though the bottom weight certainly knows how to get her head in front. Kamchatka was very disappointing when favourite at Haydock last month but Steer By The Stars was only beaten a short-head over 7f at Catterick last time and is almost guaranteed to run her race again. NEWSTEAD ABBEY has been threatening to get his head in front for a while and, after another decent run at York, is given a final chance to fulfil his undoubted potential. Penny Garcia may be best of the rest.
