Swinbrook and Kipchak both come here with a six pounds penalty after recent successes, but we'll take a chance with THIS ONES FOR PAT. Stewart Parr's gelding has the advantage of a low draw in this big field, and plenty in hand at the weights with the other two on the shortlist. Lightly raced on turf, he's won over the minimum trip twice at Southwell, and also come close at Wolverhampton. The step up in trip should suit, and he may even be a decent each way price. Last time out he was narrowly beaten after a three month break. A number of others here are also regular all-weather campaigners. Swinbrook's on a hat-trick following successes at Southwell, but weight and draw may go against him here. The same could be said for Kipchak. Flying Bantam is one of a handful of course and distance winners here, and has his first run for John Norton. Desert Dreamer is chasing a hat-trick of wins too, and comes here as David Evans' only runner on the card. It's a tricky contest, with so many having decent form albeit at this lowely level, but we'll chance our arm with THIS ONES FOR PAT.
