        Verdict

        Dan Buoy, one of three stable entries, is likely to set out to make all and ensure this becomes an attritional staying test. He's delivered sterling performances here in his time but it requires a leap of faith to row in with him on this occasion as he searches for form. Andrew Balding's team is swinging along in great style and although it seems strange to prefer a son of Choisir in such a stamina test, PITTODRIE STAR may have too much class for this field if staying on this tough track. Visions Of Johanna has never been this far, whereas Spruzzo has no such stamina concerns and demands respect. Maoi Chinn Tire ran a cracker behind Praxiteles at Stratford recently and is no forlorn hope if translating that level to the Flat.
