Sallyanka has won a couple of fast-ground bumpers and Barry Geraghty has been booked for her hurdling debut. She is one to keep an eye on but it's CATCHERINSCRATCHER that gets the vote in an open contest. Henry De Bromhead's mare, who landed a Listed bumper at Navan in November, had her first start over this trip on good ground at Killarney last month and produced her best effort to date when runner-up to Clarach, form that should be good enough for this. Witness Belle wasn't far behind in fourth and has since produced another very good run against Jakros at Cork, though that was over three miles. King'sandqueen's looks the main threat as she has been running consistently well over timber since her debut victory in a Kilbeggan bumper and she may just have found 2m6f stretching her stamina when close up behind Eirland at Downpatrick.
