In depth

Verdict

After John scored on fast ground here in May last year but relished heavy going at Redcar in August. He's only 3lb higher while Mushariff gained his ninth career victory and his third on this track last month and has only been raised 2lb. TWIST OF HAY was having only her fifth start when scoring narrowly at Redcar and she's 4lb higher in this better race but she won like a progressive filly and can complete a double. What A Business is generally consistent at this level and won't mind the ground while Penny Pot Lane has won here twice and was narrowly beaten on her last visit. Monsieur Patat looked one to follow when scoring at Windsor but never really got going on a return visit.
