      Verdict

      None of these are easily dismissed including last year’s winner Hernandoshideaway, who hasn’t threatened since but is back on his winning mark. Hardstone has won off a higher mark before but Stars Over The Sea was upped 6lb for an earlier win at Newbury, his first since 2014. Mukhayyam has been thereabouts in lower grade handicaps recently while bumper and maiden winner Jam Session is unexposed on the Flat but BLUE HUSSAR gets the nod. He ran well for fourth in a Class 2 contest at Ripon last time and should go close in this company with a similar effort.
