Nigel Tinkler has his string in good order at present, which persuades us to go with Sake on this occasion. Hidden Star and Spring Time Girl are in good heart and can go close for the minor honours, while it would also be dangerous to rule out a bold bid from Ming Vase now that he has proved that he has trained on into his three-year-old campaign. He already has experience of the course and each-way players could do worse than side with him. Spring Time Girl won well at Carlisle last week and is respected. Still she has something to find under a penalty in this stiffer grade and others may have her measure. Hidden Star has some solid form to his name and can also get involved for one of the places. However, He may need a little rain to enhance his chances and could be risky for win only purposes. Therefore, we take our chances with Sake, who likes to hear his hooves rattle. Kim Tinkler had one of her better moments of the season when she guided him home at Redcar and a similar effort from horse and jockey will make them hard to beat here.
