In depth

Verdict

Hill Forts Henry, Supremely Red and Carriage Ride look the main protagonists in this competitive handicap chase and the narrow nomination is given to Supremely Red. The selection was a fair second behind Frosty Jack last time out and off the same mark here and under similar conditions he looks the one to be on. Hill Forts Henry rates the main danger on his best form as he looks on a handy mark but all his best efforts have been on a fast surface and he is taken on with this in mind. Carriage Ride is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Lucky Luck. He looks sure to be suited by the step up in trip but he remains a maiden after 18 starts and is opposable on that basis. La Concha would have a chance on his best form but he may need the run after a 477-day absence while Carroll's O'Tully is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with and for the winner we are happy to return to Supremely Red.
