In depth

Verdict

Qulinton can only be a nominal selection in a race where there's precious little to get excited about. Pebrock is one of the likelier winners along with My Monna. The selection won over 1 mile 6 on the level in France and is out of a winning chaser. He wouldn't need to be out of the ordinary to make a winning debut in this company and market confidence would look significant. Pebrock did well to win a bumper on debut and didn't fare too badly on his hurdling bow at Uttoxeter. However, he was very disappointing at Ludlow last time so cannot be confidently recommended. He's certainly good enough to win this if anywhere near his best. Winning pointer Moncada Bay has been off the track for a long time but is another that would be of interest if the vibes were positive whilst My Monna ran a fair race here on debut behind Sweetheart. She didn't fare too badly over a longer trip at Fontwell last time either and should take a hand in the finish but we'll chance our arm with Qulinton.
