Turbulance is sure to be popular but there's nothing wrong with the form of Ambrosinni's win at Uttoxeter and we'll take him to gain the upper hand. Of the remainder, Hinton Thunderbolt has an obvious chance whilst Big Paddy could be one to go well at a price. The selection showed a decent level of form in winning two bumpers for Richard York and proved that he could jump a hurdle when getting the better of a fair field at Uttoxeter. He's entitled to improve for that taking debut effort but has to prove himself on heavy ground. Turbulance got the better of a useful sort in January but hasn't made as much progress as seemed likely. In fairness, he may just have bumped into a well handicapped horse at Plumpton whilst it was a competitive race that he finished in midfield in at Newbury last time. This is less exacting and he's a major player. Hinton Thunderbolt didn't settle very well when beaten last time but he had got the better of a decent sort in Tot O' Whiskey on Boxing Day and can be forgiven one poor run; he has the ability to go close. Big Paddy has plenty to find with that trio but he stayed on nicely from the rear on his hurdling bow and should improve in leaps and bounds. He may be able to get in amongst the main protagonists, of whom, we prefer Ambrosinni.
