Verdict

PRINCE IMPERIAL was a prolific winner on the Flat and he handles soft ground so it would be no surprise to see Richard Hughes’ five-year-old get off the mark at the first time of asking over timber. Killaloan didn’t shown much on the Flat in Ireland last year but may do better over hurdles. Howlingmadmurdock is an interesting recruit for Tom Lacey having easily won a Fontwell bumper in February and Diamond Egg and Ebonello are other bumper winners. Hereford winner Getaway Drumlee can probably be forgiven his run in a Cheltenham Grade 2 last month but is conceding 7lb.
