In depth

Verdict

A race very much at the mercy of We'll Make It. The horse though is not to be trusted implicitly and he proved why at Ascot when stopping under the handling of Philip Hide when hitting the front for what looked to be a race winning manoeuvre. If he is in the mood, he will win this but this is a big If. Totland Bay is exposed as fairly ordinary but he is at least straightforward. He will not mind drying ground and is the one to pick up the prize should We'll Make It decide to be up to his tricks. Flying First did show some glimpses of ability in bumpers a long time ago but has shown little since a long absence. The rest look decidedly moderate.
