Verdict

A very ordinary contest in which Hi Lily is given the nod albeit at modest stakes. She had won well at Southwell on a fast surface in March before turning in a shocker at Sedgefield. Assuming that the race had come a little too quickly, we will forgive her and make her our selection. Follow The Trend's recent form has come on softer so this looks a big ask today. Tudor King will have stripped fitter for a recent break and could be the danger. At his best, the form is there but we are taking a leap in the dark in believing this. Francolino and Top Light have failed to sparkle of late.
